Templates / Technology & Engineering
Two columns with skills and contact in a coloured sidebar. Strong for technical and design roles; less reliable through older ATS parsers than a single column.
Example text — you replace it with yours in the builder.
Suits technology & engineering roles where the CV is read by a person — a referral, a direct email, or a smaller company without an automated pipeline.
The two-column layout reads well to a human but interleaves when flattened to plain text, so older parsers can scramble it. Use it when you are sending the CV directly to a person, and keep a single-column version for portal applications.
Accent colour, sidebar bg, font body, font heading, spacing, scale, line, section order, which sections appear, page size (A4 or Letter), and every word of the text. Nothing here is locked behind a payment.
Classic Sidebar puts contact details and skills in a coloured column so the main column can concentrate on what you built. It works best when a person reads the CV first — a referral or a direct email — rather than a large company's online portal.
Figures in [brackets] are placeholders. Use your own, and only ones you could explain in an interview.
