Questions

Do I need to create an account?

No. Open the builder, pick a template and replace the example text with your own. Your draft is saved in your browser as you type, so you can close the tab and come back. The only reason to sign in is to import projects from GitHub.

Is it really free?

Yes. Every template, unlimited edits, PDF download, no watermark and no card. The site is supported by advertising.

Will my CV pass an applicant tracking system?

The templates marked ATS-safe are single column, use conventional section headings, avoid layout tables, and keep contact details in the body text rather than a page footer where parsers miss them. The PDF carries a real text layer, so a parser reads words instead of guessing at an image. No builder can promise a pass rate — that depends on the specific system an employer runs — but these are the choices that matter. You can test any CV with the free ATS checker.

Can I make my CV on my phone?

Yes. The builder works on a phone: edit one section at a time, tap Preview to see the page exactly as it will print, and download the PDF straight to your phone.

Should I put a photo on my CV?

It depends where you are applying. A photo is conventional in Germany and France and is frequently a reason for rejection in the US, UK and Canada, where it invites the bias hiring processes are meant to exclude. The toggle is off by default and the choice is yours — the CV formats by country pages cover the rules for each market.

I am a developer. Can it use my GitHub?

Yes. Sign in with GitHub, choose repositories, and AI drafts project bullets from what is actually in them. It never adds numbers that are not in your repository data, private repositories can inform your CV without ever appearing on a public page, and anything you edit by hand is never overwritten.
