Who this suits

Suits technology & engineering roles where the CV is read by a person — a referral, a direct email, or a smaller company without an automated pipeline.

How it handles ATS parsing

The two-column layout reads well to a human but interleaves when flattened to plain text, so older parsers can scramble it. Use it when you are sending the CV directly to a person, and keep a single-column version for portal applications.

What you can change

Accent colour, sidebar bg, font body, font heading, spacing, scale, line, section order, which sections appear, page size (A4 or Letter), and every word of the text. Nothing here is locked behind a payment.

How to write a data scientist's or analyst's CV in Notebook

Data roles are hired on what your models and analyses changed. Notebook keeps the stack and toolchain in the sidebar, leaving the main column for models shipped and their impact.

Sections, in this order

  1. Sidebar: languages, libraries, data tools, cloud platforms, certifications
  2. Main column: summary, experience, projects with problem, method and result, education, publications
